Beyonce Knowles’ whole family used to help her fasten her clothes because she was so fat. Despite now being regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful women, the singer has revealed she was a “chubby and ugly” child who struggled to fit into her trousers. She said: “Of course I’ve had an ugly period. When I was around 10 or 11, my mother gave me this really ugly haircut and I was really, really chubby. So chubby that my family used to all lay me down flat so they could zip up my jeans. It took four of them and I would lie there on the bed while they all got to it.”

A Vienna radio station has admitted that it sent a look-a-like of US pop star Beyonce as a prank to the Albertina Museum, which was angered after organising a personal tour, the APA news agency reported. KroneHit radio said that the American star, who gave a concert in Vienna on Tuesday, was not aware that the station had hired the German look-a-like to walk around the Austrian capital. Some newspaper reports had previously said Beyonce hired the double to go to the museum while she went shopping. "We followed the look-a-like around Vienna all day to see how people reacted when they met Beyonce," Andrea Hilber, KroneHit's marketing chief, told APA. "We had an excellent private visit of the Albertina Museum carried out by its director", Klaus Albert Schroeder, Hilber added.

More than 18,000 fans packed into Croatia’s Arena Zagreb to see BEYONCE open her I Am... tour. It was the country’s biggest-ever indoor gig and Miss Knowles was on top form, bursting on stage with her massive hit Crazy In Love. After her gold leotard for the opening number came TEN other outfits, including glow-in-the-dark undercrackers and a bondage-style leather dress.

Fans are obsessed with Beyonce Knowles. Obsessed, the new Fatal Attraction-style thriller, dominated the weekend box office with $28.5 million in ticket sales -- well over what studio execs predicted. The movie also stars The Office's Idris Elba, who plays Knowles' husband in an ideal marriage that is shattered after a psychotic coworker (played by Heroes' Ali Larter) begins some serious stalking. The film -- which was projected to open in the high teens -- is Knowles' top-grossing debut since her own film debut in Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Although it had previously been announced that Beyonce would arrive in Zagreb on Saturday, the pop-diva decided to come to Zagreb on the very day of her concert. The singer arrived at the Pleso airport in the morning, accompanied by her parents who will return to the United States on Monday, while Beyonce will continue her European tour. 'I am very excited because I’ve never been to Croatia before', Beyonce told the gathered reporters just after she landed.

But there was nothing but love in the room, as the Grammy winner told Ross that she loves him! "Don't say that if you don't mean it," said a delighted Ross. "I do," insisted Beyonce. "I just want to laugh. You just make me happy. It's like this magic right here, it's like a magnet. I feel it."

Grammy Award winning singer and actress Beyonce Knowles has a plan to settle down in a couple of years and have some children with her husband, hip hop mogul Jay-Z, do less touring and -- debut on Broadway. "It's my ideal job," Knowles told Reuters, while promoting her latest film role in "Obsessed," in which she plays a wife who takes on her husband's stalker. "I'll be able to go to the theater every day and drop my kids off and maybe make some food -- maybe I'll know how to cook by then -- and then go do what I love and have some normalcy and have a regular schedule."
