Grammy Award winning singer and actress Beyonce Knowles has a plan to settle down in a couple of years and have some children with her husband, hip hop mogul Jay-Z, do less touring and -- debut on Broadway. "It's my ideal job," Knowles told Reuters, while promoting her latest film role in "Obsessed," in which she plays a wife who takes on her husband's stalker. "I'll be able to go to the theater every day and drop my kids off and maybe make some food -- maybe I'll know how to cook by then -- and then go do what I love and have some normalcy and have a regular schedule." "I definitely want to do Broadway."

When Jay Z and Beyoncé showed up in the Baby and Preschool section of FAO Schwartz, gossiping shoppers might have suspected a little Jay Jr. might be on the way. But not so fast, you chin-waggers! The couple were just treating their nephew, Daniel Julez Smith Jr., to a shopping spree at the New York toy store. "They bought a ton of stuff," said a fan who was in the 5th Avenue store at the time on Saturday. "That's got to be a very cool aunt and uncle to have."

The singer - who married rapper Jay-Z in a secret ceremony last April - admits relationships aren't easy and require dedication, like everything else in life. She said: "Everything that's worth anything you have to fight for. You have to fight in your relationships, I have to fight for my career, I have to fight to stay in shape, because I get tempted to eat good old chocolate, and all this stuff everybody loves. It's all a fight, but it's worth it."

The superstar was promoting her new movie Obsessed when US TV reporter and broadcaster Billy Bush asked her for her thoughts about her manager father Mathew and her design partner mum Tina. The singer revealed she trusted her mum above everyone, adding, "Whenever there's something going wrong, my mother's there and she stays up all night to make sure everything's perfect and I always can depend on her." Beyonce then had to take a moment as she paused to sob, before adding, "I feel crazy but I'm very lucky to have her." Beyonce says one of the toughest parts of summer tour has been condensing more than a decade's hits into a two-hour show. Judging from a recent photo shoot, figuring out how to perform them in Thierry Mugler's elaborate, over-the-top costumes is just as difficult. Beyonce strutted gingerly in one such outfit, with a motorcycle handle-type top and flashing light at the center. But the camera brought out Sasha Fierce, her alter ego moving confidently in the outrageous getup and stiletto heels. "I'm never gonna go on stage or do a video and not work until my feet are blistered, and until I'm basically, I can't walk any more," the giggly but exhausted entertainer said later. "I always give, and I do that because I know how lucky I am, to do my job."

Beyonce and Jay-Z are all smiles while shopping for sunglasses in Soho, NYC (Apr 18 2009). The pair walked casually on a crowded sunny Saturday afternoon. While inside the store, Jay-Z would nudge Beyonce with his hand to show her various sunglasses that he liked. Afterwards, the couple walked back to their Porsche turbo car and disappeared as quickly as they had appeared.

In support of her latest, chart-topping album, "I Am ... Sasha Fierce," Beyonce has announced her 2009 world tour dates in North America this summer. The trek starts at New York's Madison Square Garden in June and wraps with a four-night residence at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas July 30-August 2. Beyonce will be backed by her all-female band. Winners of her "Single Ladies" video dance contest will see themselves onscreen during one of the tour concert's centerpiece sections.

A recent poll by international magazine Vanity Fair catapulted stunning actress Freida Pinto into the beauties of the world list. The magazine chose 19 beautiful women from across the globe and the gorgeous Angelina Jolie took 58 per cent votes to become the world’s most gorgeous woman. Newlywed supermodel Gisele Bundchen ranked second with 9 per cent of the total votes, and Oscar-winner Halle Berry ranked third with 4 per cent. Pinto has tied in the fifth place with powerhouse actress Cate Blanchette and popstar Beyonce.

Trident, the chewing gum brand, is launching a major promotion to give Beyonce fans a chance to attend a free concert at The O2 Arena featuring the international superstar. From April 20 consumers will have an opportunity to win a free ticket to attend the concert everytime they buy a pack of Trident gum. Consumers will be asked to log on to a website and enter the last four digits of the barcode on the pack to get in the draw. Weekly ballots will run until May 31, with 1,000 tickets to be given away each week. A total of 13,000 tickets are up for grabs. The concert will be held on November 15.

R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles is reportedly set to team up with The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke on a new track. Knowles was hugely impressed with the singer after performing a duet with her on the TV talent show last year. And the Crazy In Love hitmaker is keen to help Burke emulate Leona Lewis' success in the US music charts - by teaming up for a collaboration, according to OK! magazine. A source tells the publication, "Beyonce is sure Alexandra has what it takes to be as big as Leona and she's planning to help her crack the US."

American pop star Beyonce Knowles is demanding Adriatic fish and domestic olive oil during her stay in Croatia. Beyonce will give a concert in Zagreb’s Arena sports and concert hall on 26 April. The Zagreb concert organizer, Lupa Promotion, said Beyonce was not a demanding person but wanted mostly Mediterranean food on her menu. Beyonce’s dynamic performances require special eating habits, so her managers have sent a list to the organizer asking for lots of fruits and vegetables, fish and light meat. All food must be organic. The meals will be prepared by Beyonce’s special catering service. The pop star also wants to have a white stage backdrop with lots of plants and aromatic candles. Beyonce’s Zagreb concert is the opening one on her European tour ‘I am...', with which Beyonce has been promoting her last album "I am Sasha Fierce."

Talk all you want about how Beyoncé's husband rakes in the bucks, but Mrs. Sean Carter is doing just fine on her own, thank you very much. As part of Parade magazine's annual "What People Earn" issue, it's revealed that Beyoncé banked a remarkable $80 million in 2008, just $2 million less than Jay-Z.

Beyonce will guest-star in four new episodes of Nick Jr.'s Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! starting Monday, April 27, and we have an exclusive clip! She's the blonde in the middle. Obviously. Awww, the usually unadorned Wubbzy got all blinged-out (blung?) to become the likely Jay-Z-inspired (just a hunch) "Wubb-Z." No one falls off a stage and into a heap of abandoned orchestra instruments better than Wubb-Z, y'all! You can see the clip HERE.
