The mega-star touched down in Trinidad and Tobago by private jet yesterday around 1 p.m. but did not make a public appearance to adoring fans. Late yesterday afternoon, Beyonce was seen on a yacht, named Velista, anchored off the Hyatt Regency hotel on Wrightson Road, Port of Spain, where she is staying. And a photographer from the Barbados Nation, sister paper of the Express, got photos of her at the Hyatt, one of which shows her walking along the Waterfront.

Not everyone is in town for Fashion Week. Power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé were spotted the other day lounging on the rooftop of the W Santiago in Chile, during a stop on her Latin American tour. "They were drinking virgin strawberry mojitos and eating ceviche," says our source. "They were very private, and obviously not super lovey-dovey because the pool area is such a public space, but they were hanging out all afternoon. They had a lot of security around them at all times."

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has released a tally of the decade’s highest Gold and Platinum award achievements, and the artist with the most total certifications in the decade (including cumulative album, digital song, master ringtone, and music video certifications) is Beyoncé with a grand total of 64. The Eagles also racked up 48 awards, and Michael Jackson had 44. "We’ve seen a decade of major music milestones and extraordinary artist achievements as part of our historic Gold and Platinum program," said RIAA Chairman/CEO Mitch Bainwol. "The names, songs and albums on our list are the decade’s best and are etched in our music DNA. As the way fans access and enjoy music continues to evolve, so has and will the G&P program in recognizing the highest commercial and artistic success. As a community, we’ve endured our share of challenges, but the new decade brings reasons for hope and optimism. The appetite for music is stronger than ever and the breadth of innovation is amazing. In this ever-evolving landscape, we’re grateful that the RIAA’s Gold and Platinum program continues to be the music industry’s recognized brand for success."

Alicia Keys recently teamed with fellow female powerhouse Beyoncé to film the video for "Put It in a Love Song" in Brazil. Some local fans posted video footage online, in which we see Keys giving a performance in the streets. A plethora of photos were also put on AliciaKeysDaily.com, showing A.Keys and B dressed up in festive dresses, also in the streets. On Sunday, during the NBA All-Star Game at Cowboys Stadium, Alicia talked about the latest release from her The Element of Freedom LP. "Shooting 'Put It in a Love Song' in Rio, in Brazil, was very incredible," Keys said. "I feel that the energy of the city matches the energy of the song. It's sensual, it's exciting, it's so rich with color. I loved it. The people came out so heavy and so hard. I think it was exciting, especially to participate and experience it with them like that. Me and B have a great relationship. And to be able to have the chemistry we have and do it in a city that's so unique like that is unforgettable. The pictures speak a thousand words. So you saw the energy out there. It was great."

A follow up to their first collaboration, "Video Phone," "Telephone" is featured on Lady Gaga's late 2009 release "The Fame Monster".

Judging by the leaked photos and a few rumors, Beyoncé is breaking Lady Gaga out of jail in their newest video collaboration, "Telephone." And now we know one more thing about the clip: Gaga's pals and Monster Ball Tour opening act Semi Precious Weapons also appear in it. "We do have a cameo in the 'Telephone' video, which was when we walked on set and there was Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, all at once. It was pretty magical," frontman Justin Tranter shared with MTV News. "Obviously, Gaga's one of the greatest music visionaries of our time, and Beyoncé is one of the greatest visions of our time. She is a music visionary too."

Beyonce's rep tells UsMagazine.com that gunfire didn't break out at her Friday concert in Brazil, despite a false internet report. "The reports of gunfire during Beyonce's concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early are totally false," a rep for the singer, 28, tells Us. "Beyonce played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in Sao Paulo on Saturday, February 6 and two sold-out shows in Rio on February 7 and 8." An unsubstantiated Web report claimed that local kids began shooting fans as they left the stadium, and that police fired back.

Beyonce Knowles' second show in Brazil ended with a gun fight last night (11.02.10). The pop superstar - who had jetted into Salvador from Rio de Janeiro to sing her hits to fans - had been performing to a 30,000-strong audience, but the night ended in terror when police had to open fire on teenagers who had been shooting at people waiting for taxis to get home. The 29-year-old pop star was not hurt in the incident, and there were no serious injuries. Beyonce has been in the country for the past week shooting the new video for her and Alicia Keys' forthcoming single 'Put It In A Love Song' and to perform a handful of concerts. The 'Halo' singer spent much of yesterday sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro and visited the city's famous Christ The Redeemer statue. However, she was mobbed by other tourists as she tried to catch a glimpse of the 130ft landmark. Beyonce had planned to stay in Rio de Janeiro for this weekend's carnival, but will be jetting into the UK next week for the BRIT Awards.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has named Beyoncé as the official face of their limited-edition “Fashion For Haiti” T-shirt. The charitable tee features black and lime green graphics designed by Peter Arnell, who also created the CFDA’s iconic “Fashion for America” mended heart T-shirt that raised $2 million dollars following 9/11 for the Twin Towers Fund. As the spokesperson for “Fashion For Haiti,” Beyoncé has a message for all fashionistas: “Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt. Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti.” In addition to Beyoncé, fashion designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Tommy Hilfiger and more are rallying to promote the $25 knit. The CFDA will donate the net proceeds from each T-shirt to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Look for the tee to hit shops and e-boutiques on February 16. Grammy Award-winning singers Beyonce and Alicia Keys are filming a music video in Rio de Janeiro. Sheri Ladner is a publicist with RCA Music Group, which includes Keys' label, J Records. She says the singers are shooting a video for their duet "Put It In a Love Song." The song is from Keys' recently released album "The Element of Freedom." Brazilian television on Tuesday showed the singers performing together in front of cameras in the Morro da Conceicao shantytown. Ladner says the video will have scenes recorded at several locations across Rio. HQ images now added!

While singing 'Irreplaceable' at a concert in Brazil, Beyonce took a tumble onstage. She recovered quickly, spending some time dancing around on the floor as if she'd intended to. Beyonce suffered a more dramatic onstage fall in 2007. It's a grainy cell phone video, but skip to about :30 to see Beyonce's fall.
