Better late than never!
Beyonce and Jay-Z's posh April 4, 2008 wedding in NYC was one of the most closely guarded celeb nuptials ever -- with few details and no photos emerging from the big day.
Over three years later, however, Beyonce (now expecting her first child with her man) is ready to share one very significant moment from her wedding day: Her dress!
In the video (which debuted on Vevo) for her inspirational anthem "I Was Here," taped live at NYC's Roseland in August, the superstar shared personal footage from her life, including her childhood, her early showbiz days, her rise to fame with Destiny's Child, her mega solo career, charity work -- and her romance with Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter), 42.
In one brief moment in the reel, an overjoyed Beyonce is revealed in her strapless wedding dress -- featuring a dramatic, ruffled train and a tiny waist.

A few days ago (Nov. 7), Sony Music hosted two screenings (10 am and 12 am) for Beyonce's "Live At Roseland" DVD at Sony's NYC offices.
Beyonce's publicist shared a few words before cueing play, saying the DVD was a "labor of love" as it was directed, edited and produced by Bey', herself. Ed Burke and Anthony Green also had a hand in directing and Bey' took reigns as executive producer in association with Parkwood Entertainment and Colombia Records.
"Live At Roseland," due Nov. 21 exclusively at Walmart, will give fans an "up close and personal" look at Beyonce. The 26-song live DVD documents Bey's four nights at the Roseland Ballroom in August, "4 Intimate Nights with Beyonce." The DVD includes the complete Roseland concert series and never before seen personal footage from Bey'. Queen B shares footage of her times with Destiny's Child, traveling and partying with family, the much talked about American Idol "1+1" rehearsal clip, shot by husband Jay-Z, other performances and even a sneak peak at Beyonce's wedding dress.
On Nov. 29, Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records plan to release a deluxe version of DVD titled, "Live At Roseland: The Elements of 4," which is a two-disc DVD that will include complete concert footage, bonus offstage footage, a 20-page booklet and a video anthology that includes seven videos from her Billboard 200 No.1 album, "4."
As of now, Beyonce has debuted six videos from "4"-- three in the month of Oct., ten days apart ("Countdown'" (Oct. 6), "Love on Top" (Oct. 16) and "Party" (Oct. 26), which means we should be expecting one more video from "4" before the deluxe version release date, Nov. 27. A source tells Billboard that the seventh video, also said to not be "End of Time," will debut on Nov. 27th, two days before the deluxe release date.

Beyonce Knowles has been named the highest earning entertainer by the minute in the world.

The 'Love on Top' singer topped a poll by social media website saucytime.com by earning £1.25 million for a five-song performance at a private New Year's Eve 2010 party on the island of St. Barts, equating to £71,040 for each minute she was on the stage.

In second place was Mariah Carey, who earned £630,000 - or £44,400 per minute - for a four-song set at a similar party held the previous year on the same Caribbean island.

Third highest earner per minute was Kylie Minogue, who commanded £33,000 every sixty seconds - or £2 million for her whole hour set -when she sung at the launch party of the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, November 2008.

Next was Jennifer Lopez, who received the equivalent of £25,000 a minute from Russian tycoon Andrei Meinichenko to appear at his wife's birthday party in 2007.

Jennifer narrowly beat The Rolling Stones who rounded out the top five by making £2.2 million in 2002 from an hour and a half set for Texan billionaire David Bonderman's 60th birthday, the equivalent of £24,242 per minute.

Saucytime.com - which charges users just £2 a minute for its services - also calculated the next five highest earners per minute to be Eminem at £16,666 Usher and Christina Aguilera tied in seventh place with £10,441, Rihanna earning £8,333 in ninth place and Cheryl Cole completing the top ten by commanding £4,167 per minute for an hour long private concert in Venice this February.

The 'buzz' on Beyonce's costume comments (0)
01 Nov 2011 by BorgQueen
Beyonce picked a Halloween costume inspired by the first syllable of her name this year: The R&B diva dressed up as a bumble bee. She was spotted exiting The Darby supper club last night, which was home to rapper Kanye West and model Anja Rubik's Halloween party.

The soiree was gypsy-themed -- with belly dancers and tarot card readers -- but Beyonce bucked the trend, dressing instead as a pollen-loving insect. She wore a fuzzy, black-and-yellow striped jumper over black shorts and sported yellow antennae on her head. The star offset the cutesy look with a bold pair of stylish black-and-yellow heels.

The costume kept her baby bump well-hidden.

BEYONCE TO RELEASE “LIVE AT ROSELAND” DVD comments (0)
27 Oct 2011 by BorgQueen
When Beyonce took the stage back in August for four electrifying nights at the famed Roseland Ballroom, only 3,500 lucky fans per night, who bought those tickets in a record 22 seconds, were able to catch the intimate shows in the historic New York venue where she managed to turn a club into a coliseum.

Praised as “robust,” “finely-tuned,” and “compelling” by The New York Times, “4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce” at Roseland Ballroom, was a tour de force for the entertainer. It was the only time she would perform her new album, 4, almost completely and to a very limited audience. Backed by her all-female band, with an additional string section, the performances were punctuated with spirited stories detailing her journey before the album, 4, including her years before and with Destiny’s Child.

On Monday, November 21, just in time for Thanksgiving, fans who longed to be at those shows can get up close and personal with Beyonce and experience for themselves the energy and magic that filled the Ballroom with the release of Live At Roseland, exclusively at Walmart. The 26-song live DVD brings the quaint setting turn stadium performances to your living room.

And on Tuesday, November 29, Live At Roseland: The Elements Of 4 deluxe package, a two-disc DVD, with the complete concert, bonus offstage footage, a 20-page booklet and a video anthology that includes seven videos from her latest album, 4, will be released worldwide. The concert documentary is filled with never-before seen footage that captures Beyonce’s life from eager five-year-old music fan to a consummate entertainer who is in control of every inch of her life and career.

In advance of the DVD’s release, the new video for “Party,” included in the anthology on the deluxe DVD, will be on air on BET’s 106 & Park tonight and online with VEVO and Beyonceonline.com. Directed by Beyonce and Alan Ferguson, “Party” is the sixth video released from “4” and features rapper J Cole with cameos from Solange and Kelly Rowland.

Live At Roseland was directed by Beyonce, Ed Burke and Anthony Green and executive produced by Beyonce for Parkwood Entertainment, in association with Columbia Records.

Beyonce Knowles was dropped off for an appointment in NYC today and got a helpful hand as she stepped out onto the wet NYC pavement. She paired a bright blue bag with electric-colored heels, though kept her latest maternity look all black. Beyonce will soon launch her own maternity line, and likely will test her "edgy and sexy" new styles in the coming months. Her signature style hasn't changed too drastically since she announced her pregnancy. Beyonce did, however, make a recent update to her hair. Beyonce showed off her sleek new bangs while running errands around town yesterday, but kept her newly trimmed locks slicked back this afternoon.

Beyonce Knowles knows baby’s sex comments (0)

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z know what sex their baby is, Tina Knowles has revealed. The couple are expecting their first baby in February. Beyonce's mum is excited about becoming a grandmother for the second time and was dropping plenty of hints about the new arrival at the Angel Ball in New York on Monday. "Yeah they know what they're having," she told Life & Style. "But I'm not telling!" Tina confessed that Beyonce has been suffering from morning sickness. But she has been working hard to get herself through it. However, Tina thinks that when Beyonce has the baby she will be forced to slow down a bit. "She went through it [morning sickness], but she's got past it now," she explained. "She's doing really good. She's busy. She's going to be an awesome mom. I think it will slow her down somewhat, but I think she'll be the same great person she's been." The designer also had plenty of praise for rapper Jay-Z. She believes the 41-year-old will make a fantastic father. "I think he's going to be awesome," she added. "They are very, very happy and just glowing. It's great to see."

Harper's Bazaar: Beyonce's Baby Love: The Extended Interview comments (0)
12 Oct 2011 by BorgQueen
Bazaar: You started working towards your career at age 8. If you could go back in time and give your younger self some advice, what would it be?
Beyonce: I would tell myself to trust myself. I am finally at the stage in my life where I am not so concerned with other people's opinions about my life decisions. It is so liberating to really know what I want, what truly makes me happy, what I will not tolerate. When I was younger I had a hard time setting boundaries.

Bazaar: You've described yourself as very shy but you seem to radiate confidence. How did you earn it?
Beyonce: I'm not as shy as I used to be. I'm a good listener and I like to observe and sometimes people think that's being shy. I think I'm confident because I love what I do and I work very hard.

Bazaar: You have pointed to Diana Ross and Tina Turner as inspirations of yours. What about their careers would you like to emulate?
Beyonce: They were fearless and are icons. They are great performers with amazing style and beauty. As black women they both rose above adversity and showed the world how truly strong they are.

Bazaar: You are very close with your sister, Solange. How have you avoided having sibling rivalry?
Beyonce: I think it's because I have always been the big sister. I am five years older than Solange and just always felt the need to love and protect her. I just never had it in me to fight with my sister. We are very different in what we like and how we do things but those differences added to our friendship.
The love I have for her is indescribable.

Bazaar: What have you learned from seeing Solange become a mother at a young age?
Beyonce: I saw her in a very different light. Suddenly her strength was at the center of who she is. I learned patience and honesty watching her relationship with her son. She added a beautiful human being to our family. My nephew is an unbelievable child. He is smart, inventive and strong. All the things my sister is.

Harper's Bazaar: Beyonce's Baby Love comments (0)

Typically, when a celebrity announces a pregnancy, a team of publicists and managers is consulted, deals are struck, and photos are carefully leaked. But all it took for Beyonce to reveal her baby news was a little belly rub at the MTV Video Music Awards this past August—a move that nearly caused the Twittersphere to implode, with tweets about it going out at 8,868 per second, a record for the social-networking site.

That's not to say that it wasn't a carefully planned maneuver: "I put a lot of thought into how I wanted to unveil it. It was important to me that I was able to do it myself," Beyonce explains. The orange Lanvin caftan she wore for the big moment was the last of an epic near-70 gowns she considered. "I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did.

"I didn't want a crazy picture or gossip story to break the news," she continues, "so I decided to say nothing and proudly show my baby bump. I felt it was more powerful to see the love and enthusiasm as opposed to saying anything."

That love and enthusiasm were fully in evidence as Beyonce hit New York Fashion Week in September with her little sister, Solange. Forget the clothes on display, "Babyonce" was in the house—front and center under a belted gold sequined wrap dress. After causing a flash mob of fans at J. Crew, the Beyonce caravan made its way to the front rows of Vera Wang and Rodarte.

"This morning, I woke up and I was like, 'Really? A fashion show?' But I wanted to spend time with my sister," Beyonce says afterward. She is glowing from head to toe following a vacation in Venice with her husband, Jay-Z, to celebrate her 30th birthday—all golden skin, honey-blonde-streaked hair, and a bright smile glossed a tawny hue.

Gwyneth Paltrow enjoys birthday with Beyonce comments (0)

Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her 39th birthday with Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z.
The 'Contagion' actress was joined by her husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, and the superstar couple, who are currently expecting their first child together, for an intimate dinner at Spanish restaurant Tertulia in New York's West Village on Monday.
However, the long-term friends - who recently spent time together at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK where both Beyonce and Chris performed - did not stay out late, with Gwyneth up in the morning to take her daughter Apple, seven, to school.
She was also quick to thank her fans for their birthday wishes, writing on twitter: "Thank you for all of my happy birthday wishes, just read so many ... you guys make my life great, thank you xgp (sic)"

Beyonce's VMA Pregnancy Reveal Inspired By A Dream comments (2)
23 Sep 2011 by BorgQueen
A stunning and glowing Beyonce stepped out in New York on Wednesday to launch her new fragrance, Beyonce Pulse. Typically, the superstar artist is a very private person, but when Access Hollywood guest correspondent Jill Martin sat down with her, Beyonce opened up about her other big news (her pregnancy!) and how she came up with the idea to reveal her baby bump at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
"You know, I dreamt it, actually," Beyonce told Jill of the inspiration behind her pregnancy announcement. "There were so many rumors about me being pregnant every three months for the past couple of years -- I thought the best way and classiest way was to just show it.
"And my husband and I have been together for 10 years, so I guess people felt a part of it and it makes me feel really good," she added.
Following Beyonce's big reveal at the end of her VMAs performance, cameras cut to a shot of her husband, Jay-Z, in the audience along with Kanye West, as the two rappers jumped up and down and cheered in celebration.
Although the proud, soon-to-be daddy's enthusiasm was seen by millions, Beyonce said she missed the endearing moment.
"I couldn't see that in real life, but I did see it on a bunch of TV specials," the 30-year-old singer said. "You couldn't escape it, so it was nice!"
As for motherhood, B said she feels she's been preparing for this moment for years.
"I just feel like everything I've been through in my life is all for right now," she told Jill. "So hopefully life will continue to get better, and I'll continue to get stronger and be an incredible mother."
Beyonce was solo at the launch party for her third fragrance, but both she and Jay-Z were very involved in creating Pulse.
"I wear it, I live with it for about six months, and we tweak," she revealed, when asked about her creative process. "I make sure it's long lasting.
"And I make sure I get my compliments from everyone -- from my fans to my husband," she added with a laugh.

Beyonce discusses pregnancy and her new fragrance comments (4)
22 Sep 2011 by BorgQueen
Now that Beyonce is pregnant, there are certain smells that turn her stomach.
"My nose, I smell everything from a mile away," Beyonce said during an interview with The Associated Press while wearing a long, flowing purple dress, her baby bump showing. "Usually it is food, it is onions or something that I just can't tolerate."
Her new fragrance is not one of them. On Wednesday, Beyonce was busy promoting Pulse, her third scent. For the creator of girl-power anthems like "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and "Run the World (Girls)," Pulse represents another extension of that theme.
"I always meet strong, powerful women and they always have a signature scent," the 30-year-old said. "That is one of the first things I was so proud of. I thought about Diamonds and Elizabeth Taylor and all these icons, so I am so proud of this."
AP: How is this fragrance different from your others?
Beyonce: This is very fresh. This is all about citrus, but it also has vanilla in the back. It is important for me for a fragrance not to just smell like one thing. I think women are interesting and I don't like for you to be like, "Ok, this smells like this." I like for it to be something signature and something that brings out your inner beauty and your confidence and makes you feel like you leave a long-lasting impression on someone.

Beyonce Goes Short, Blue and Sparkly to Launch comments (0)
22 Sep 2011 by BorgQueen
Beyonce chose to wear a very short and sparkly dress at the launch of her new Pulse fragrance in New York today. She also stuck to the blue theme in a sequinned blazer to match the flacon of the perfume, which is her latest release after the success of Heat. It seems like Beyonce has been wearing lots of sequinned jackets since announcing her pregnancy at the MTV VMAs in a sparkly purple blazer; she also wore a black version at London Fashion Week. The multi-talented artist loves dressing her baby bump and said at the recent House of Dereon show that originally “it was really difficult to conceal.” Now the news is out, “I can be proud and excited about it, I’m having so much fun shopping.”
