Beyoncé and Jay-Z haven't broken up, despite what nationally syndicated radio host Wendy Williams said on her show earlier this week, according to the New York Daily News. It's a good thing, because the bootylicious singer has had more important things to worry about. Beyoncé recently attended a SI bash where guests may have been exposed to hepatitis A via an infected chef employed by Wolfgang Puck Catering, which catered the party. "Thank goodness, neither one of us ate. According to the health department, she wasn't at risk," her publicist, Alan Nierob, told The Associated Press.

Stars will keep Oscar on high musical note comments (0)
25 Feb 2007 by BorgQueen
The Oscars are all about movies, of course, but two days before the big event, only music filled the golden guy's hallowed hall. The "Dreamgirls" -- Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Anika Noni Rose -- reunited to rehearse the film's three nominated songs. "Dreamgirls" director Bill Condon was on hand to oversee their performances. Beyonce did not bring an entourage, but she still sparkled like a superstar in towering stilettos, tight blue jeans and a bedazzled jacket. Rose also sported high heels. Hudson, considered the favorite for the supporting-actress Oscar, dressed down, pairing ballet flats with her casual miniskirt, leggings and T-shirt combo. Halfway through the rehearsal, she slipped into heels.

Beyonce to get half of the Best Song Oscar comments (0)
23 Feb 2007 by BorgQueen
Beyonce stands to pick up half an Oscar if songwriter Scott Cutler wins gold for Best Song on Sunday (25FEB07) - he'll cut the statuette down the middle. Oscar rules limit the amount of nominees in the Best Song category and, as one of five writers credited with Dreamgirls hit 'Listen', Knowles missed out on a nod. But Cutler insists the singer/actress won't be left out of he wins gold. He says, "Beyonce helped that along a lot - little lifts in the melody, little lifts in the song that we hadn't thought of. She just kept sending back ideas, thoughts, what she wanted. "I'll cut my Oscar in the middle and give her half."
